Hey,

I recently upgraded to a 9900k and a 2080ti and have been having an odd issue. My drivers update just fine but on my old system the Nvidia installer would uninstall the old driver during the installation process but that doesn't happen  with my new build. Is that normal or is there something interfering with the installation to cause it to miss that step?

Thanks!

There is a check box when installing then on the bottom left that says perform clean installation. You need to check this to do what you want. Also, you could run DDU to remove all traces of the old drivers before installing new.

Thanks for the response! I have another quick question, I purchased zotac blower cards however the PSU pins are positioned differently on these cards compared to what I've seen from pictures. Gpuz says they are zotac cards and use a zotac bios but I've never seen GPUs with PSU pins on the end(see Imgur link)

Thanks again
