PCIe bus overclocking

Does anyone know if overclocking the PCIe bus is even worth it? I've done quite a bit of searching and the posts I've found are either too outdated or divisive.

I realize it's a bit risky considering disk drives could become corrupt and might just cause a completely unstable GPU.

Thing is I've replaced my SB with Fujipoly Extreme 17W/mK and can get it to 115Mhz stable (somehow...) so I don't think I have to worry about it frying. Realistically though, I can't seem to get a performance gain. Might be it's not even overclocking in the first place but can't find a program to verify if that setting is actually applied or not.

BUS is overclocking all the connection of the motherboard.

You can get easy to 103 (+3) and it is noticeable.

But this is more for locked CPU's

It OC evrything, CPU, PCI, drives,RAM....

My motherboard is by default 100.8 (+0.8), this is from the manufacturer don't know why.And i even can't set it to zero

Oh, no. The Bus speed and PCIe Bus speed are two completely different values. That one helps overclock the northern side of things. PCIe bus speed only pertains to the southern side of things.

Take my CPU-Z for example. A default PCIe Bus speed for quite literally any motherboard is 100Mhz stock. Doesn't correlate with my readings, eh? That's also why I said I can't find a tool to read the PCIe bus values because nothing reports it. Not even Aida64.
