DOCP setting issue

Corsair Dominator Platinum 1866Mhz 16GB (4x4)
FX 8350
Asus 970 Pro Gaming/Aura (latest BIOS version)

I set the BIOS to DOCP's (aka Asus' version of XMP) profile that matches the frequency and timings for stock operation of the memory. However, once I boot up it's still stuck at 1333 in both task manager and Aida64, which is the highest non-DOCP setting. I can manually set the values and get it to work that way but I've always been curious as to why DOCP doesn't work. Also, Google searches just come up with people completely unable to boot at all, unlike my situation where I can boot, just getting the wrong values.

DOCP should have multiple profiles, try the next slower one.

Sometimes DOCP doesn't set the required voltage so the RAM might not be stable and reverts to a slower speed.

Sometimes Asus boards have a memory compatibility button or switch called "MEM-OK" or something like that if it's pressed or connected it can "reset" and/lock the memory.

That's also another weird thing. There are settings which just list the Mhz and there's only one full detailed profile on the list. Those are my only options. Either way, it still stays at 1333Mhz.

It says in the BIOS and in Aida64 it's being set to ~1.5V so I'm not sure that's the issue.

Nope, not on this board. I don't think I'd be able to manually set it to 1866Mhz etc if that were the case either.

Try using only two RAM sticks in the appropriate slots and then try XMP. Some boards have issues maintaining stability when all slots are populated.

Nope. No bueno. Confirmed I was running the full 8GB and in the right slots. Still at 1333Mhz.
