Fan Headers

thewalker6600

I am new to PC building and was wondering does the fan controller on cases that come with one on the front panel use seperate headers from the motherboard. If it depends on what case this is what I purchased. https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/cases/mid-tower/masterbox-5t/

Asking as I want to put more case fans into it and was wondering whether or not I need to get a hub as my motherboard has 4 useable headers for case fans (-1 for cpu and +1 for AIO header)

I'm new to pc building and was wondering are the connections for fan controllers built into a case there own seperate headers or would they still connect to the motherboard fan headers separately

I don't see that many headers on your mobo

It's best to go via header to have control

What fans are you using?

The case fan controller uses power from the psu and delivers 7v (low) or 12v (high) for approximately 60% and 100% rpm respectively.
