Iphone 7 issue

My sister has asked for help fixing her iphone 7 that has been having some weird issues. 

I have spent probably an hour with it trying to go into the settings and doing a software reset, but the problem is the phone when it does manage to turn on, only stays that way for less than a minute before turning off again  and starting the loop over again. 

Any help would be appreciated as she has some photos on the phone that she has not backed up that are quite important to her otherwise i would have factory reset it by now

 

Things that have already been done

updated the ios version

updated all of the apps

left it on charge and left it connected to my laptop

booted it in the connect to itunes mode (forget what it is called) and updating it through itunes

full cycled the battery
