Temperature spikes when core performance boost is enabled

So i was stressing my cpu, fpu and cache and i noticed odd temperature spikes. The cpu hangs around 79c-80c when core performance boost is enabled and does this weird spike thing where the temperature spikes up to the high 80s or low 90s for 1 second and then goes back down to 79c. When core performance boost is disabled my cpu runs 64c max with no spike in temperature. Any help?
