Hello,

I’m planing on buying the new 2080 super and I have a question. Will Be Quiet 600 W 80 plus bronze paired with i7 7700k Oc to 4,8 GHz be enough? I have 2 ssds, one optical drive and 4 case fans. Every calculator shows different result and I’m a little confused. Thank you all for the replies ❤️

Best not to trust calculators for PC stuff

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

the 2080 super uses 270 watts not overclocked

add to that the 180 watts more or less the 7700k overclocked and perhaps 30 watts from the rest of things you have and you are using around 490 watts

your psu os decent enough, should be fine, perhaps the psu fan will speed up abit, but you are under psu limits, should be fine

And one more question, i7 won’t be a big bottleneck right?

The 7700k won't bottleneck a high end GPU.
