If you pair 2x4 gb which are rated dual channel and 2x4 gb which are rated for single channel does that make my ram wont run stable above 2400 mhz?

no the ram will only work as fast as the slowest module in your system and will only work with single channel if one of the sticks are so inclined.

because my system is unstable if i clock it on 2666

imagine 3000... it just tried to boot but it restarts itself 5-7 times
