Hi guys.

I have an ASUS ROG GL752VW and it's totally overheating

Specs:

i7-6700HQ

GTX 960M 4GB

8GB RAM

IDLE:  CPU: 60°C

          GPU: 70°C

IN GAME: CPU 88°C

                GPU 88-90°C

How I can make it stay at smaller temperatures?

*I play on a wooden table* not in bed

For a laptop those are normal(ish) temperatures unfortunately. If you've had the laptop for a few years I'd recommend opening it up and using some compressed air to blow out the dust.

Other solutions that may help:

  • Undervolting
  • Changing thermal paste
  • Laptop cooling dock?
  • Aggressive fan curve

When im playing I don't hear the fan as loud as it was like it was when I bought it so it might need a good cleaning

Thanks for your answer!
