Need a multi-keyboard macro software?

Hi, I'm new here!

I am a programmer and I recently needed a macro software that I could use with spare keyboards and numpads.

I followed Taran's tutorial for normal keyboard to get luamacro with autohotkey, but writing to a file to read it afterward by autohotkey seemed less than ideal.

Also, autohotkey looks way too complex for simple tasks.

So I started programming my own keyboard macro software and well, I can easily tell the difference between the keyboards and block all inputs that comes from secondary keyboards (they don't reach windows output).

My questions is: Is there a need for multi-keyboard macro software?

I would develop it and make it available for free, I don't really care, but I don't want to develop a project if there's no need.

Is there some other software that does this?

If not, what kind of features are in need in the realm of macros?
