I'm not really sure what happened but bluetooth options have completely disappeared from my PC. This happened quite a while ago, but I don't use bluetooth often so I've just kind of ignored it until now. Anytime I try to connect a bluetooth device, Windows tells me that bluetooth is turned off, but there's no option to turn it on either in settings or in the action center. I tried downloading and installing the newest driver, but that didn't help. I also tried following a couple videos I found on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqJU95p2R3o & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yz4q9xrPdo) but all I learned from those is that bluetooth is also hidden in device manager.

Here's my system build, although some of the parts I have aren't listed on PCPartPicker anymore. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/b9wyw6

The wireless card though is a Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I.

Anyone have any ideas?

what wireless chip are you using? (take a photo of the module please)

My phone has a terrible camera, but I think you can make this out unless you're looking for the number covered by the plastic

Actually maybe not, do you know which number I can identify it with?

You can replace that chip with an intel one.

If you want a modern one you will need a: Mini PCIe Adapter M.2 Key E Slot

then a laptop m.2 wifi chip.

Well it's not a big enough deal to me that I want to buy a new part. You don't think there's a software solution?

Wouldn't I just find the same drivers that are on Gigabyte's website?

the adapter is just a passthrough, you want the drivers for that chip

Oh, I did not know that. I actually just figured out the problem though. I guess at some point I disconnected the internal USB cable from the motherboard to the card, so I put that back and it's working. I feel like a huge idiot lol. I appreciate your help though.
