I am trying to build a server PC for under 500 dollars.  I am located in the US.

I found a Xeon e5-1620v2 in a PC someone was throwing away along with an Nvidia Quadro 4000 I believe.

I need to find a motherboard and ram but am not sure what to get I also don't know if I need a GPU in the build.

These are the ram and motherboard I was considering

Ram: https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-16gb-240-pin-ddr3-sdram/p/N82E16820231489?Description=ddr3&cm_re=ddr3-_-20-231-489-_-Product

MotherBoard: https://www.newegg.com/p/1JW-003D-00009 or this one https://www.newegg.com/p/1JW-003D-00023

The goal of the build is to run Minecraft smoothly and 24/7. I will be leaving for school and want to leave it at my parent's house where the internet is decent.

The reason I want a dedicated server pc is so I don't have to be on or worry about using my PC as the server.

I hope I included all the needed information.

Thank you
