Warranty Tracking Spreadsheet

OK so I'm about to do a bit of a PC upgrade with a few gadgets involved as well. Long story short I'm realizing how utterly unprepared and unorganized I am as I consider moving everything over.

I know I should have a backup, and I've backed up a bunch of stuff and even plan to have a home server in the near future. In the meantime, though, everything is everywhere and I have to start organizing. After doing a bit of learning about if functions in excel, I came up with my first workbook that might be useful to the community as well. I have a warranty file tracker where you input the date of purchase, item, shopping store/site, length of warranty along with any serial number for records. It will give and end of warranty date, how much time you have left, and it will color coat it if something expires. Here's an example:

The empty space to the right is for additional notes, like the name of the insurance company that staples uses and how to login and see the warranty, or maybe where you put the receipt. The only thing I don't like about it is that until you put info in, the remaining time automatically says expired in red based on the formula and conditional formatting. I will keep trying to fix it to where it's blank until info is in, but until then, that's where I'm at.

I hope putting an excel file is alright and I hope this can be of benefit for other people buying parts with a bunch of warranties to now track.
