Hello everyone!
As the title says I am looking for recommendations about gaming monitor.

So here is my current setup:

Xbox one X

Gaming laptop (P57X v6)
- i7-6700HQ
- GTX 1070 (obviously the mobile version)
It's important to note that Gigabyte (the laptop manufacturer) didn't made their ports "G-Sync" capable. In other words they've put another Nvidia tech designed for power efficiency (I can't recall the name tho).
In other words, even with a GTX I won't be able to enjoy G-Sync... As for refresh rate I got no clue as the limitation... I would suppose there is none expect the ports generation (1x HDMI 1.4, 1x Mini DP and another one I probably won't ever use XD)

Anyway, you're free to do research about the laptop if you feel it could help you give me the best recommendation considering the limitations of my laptop.

As for what I am looking for in my MAIN monitor:
- 27 inch (dealbreaker) (28 inch is aight)
- 1080p or 1440p (as I understood over some online research 4K 144 Hz is nearly impossible since you need to the best GPU and even the best CPU causes bottleneck)
- 144 Hz of refresh rate! (I am not sure my laptop can deliver the refresh rate, thanks in advance if you do enough research to be able to answer it, but even if it can't I might upgrade to a tower once I am no longer a broke student XD)
- Best color accuracy and details in the black area! Is that what HDR is for? (For real some games are a real pain when it comes to see details in the dark because my monitor can't display it)

As for the xbox I am totally in the dark as for what I should go for... I ain't playing competitive games on console (I do on PC tho) so I am not looking for High refresh rate (If it's even possible to go with a high refresh rate on console... Sorry I am new on console and I don't know if it can even support higher then 60 fps XD)
So yeah, xbox display:
Probably between 32 and 55 inch that can be mounted on the TV mount I already have and obviously 4K since it seems to be what the xbox one x is made for

So that's it guys I hope you can guide me a bit! Don't hesitate to recommend many monitors to choose from, I like to compare since many can be similar with small variations. And if you want more details just ask ^^
