I read in a few more websites, and they say it works.

Apparently DDR3L is backwards compatible with DDR3, however, DDR3 is not forwards compatible with DDR3L.

So you sould be fine.

Give it a try if you desire.

I have a Gigabyte B85m HD3 mobo with 2 ram slots
Using a 1x8gb stick Transcend 1600mhz cl11 1.5v ram
Got a good 2nd hand deal on a 1x8gb adata 1600mhz cl11 1.35v ram

Almost all the specs are identical but should there be any problem since the latter ram is of different voltage?
And is it possible to run them in Dual channel mode?

With that voltage, you can't do it... your mobo only works with 1.5v. Reference

You need the voltage to be 1.5v, although I think you can mix different speeds, but it will work at the slowest ram speed, but I don't advice you that. The ram nowadays is not that expensive, and you can always buy new ram.

CPU: AMD 3700x 4300mhz 1.3v                                                     Cooling: CoolerMaster ML240L

Motherboard: Asus TUF Gaming X570-PLUS (Wi-Fi)                    RAM: 2x8GB G.SKILL 3600MHz Trident Z RGB CL16

PSU: BitFenix Whisper M 750W 80+ Gold                                      GPU: ZOTAC GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER Twin Fan 8GB GD6

Thanks for the quick reply
