Graphics Card upgrade help

So the RTX Super cards are out. Almost was going to buy the non-Super cards but now that they are out I'm thinking of either buying either the RTX 2060 Super or the 2070 Super. I currently have a GTX 1050 ti and I don't want to spend a lot of money on a graphics card. So is the RTX 2060 Super enough for high FPS 1080p gaming at highest settings?

2060Super 1080p, reasonable. Highest settings maybe? High FPS? not so much, how many FPSs do you need? 100,120,144,200+?
Because the 1080Ti can't be bothered to reach 144 FPS Highest settings 1080P. It won't reach it, unless you blow higher cash. Would the 2060S achieve high fps at 2nd highest, attainable. Extreme/Max Settings no.

I'm greatly above potato, but I'm getting there...

You'd need a stronger CPU for high refresh gaming.
