you shouldn't buy the 3600X anyways, the 3600 is much better value since Zen 2 has little overclocking headroom to begin with.

@Jurrunio ok then but should i buy the 2700x for the extra 2 cores? Ps5 will have 8 cores so games will be optimized for them to utilize 8 so i dont know what to pick

 

i see the 3600 perform better in some cases but im thinking if its only 6 cores most games in 204 years will utilize 8

then how much does 3600 cost? Even in Cinebench R20, as much as those extra cores and threads will help, only shows a 10% lead for the 2700X. Not to mention work that doesn't use all threads so well.

 

Optimized to use 8 doesn't mean capable of loading all 8 cores to 100%.

I stand by the 3600. It's performance is just more reliable overall. The less you rely on multicore optimization the better.

I dont like this case since its airflow is subpar. Just make sure you dont put anything high heat output in it.
