My PC noise under stressful games is way too loud for my liking. I was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions for what I should do. My specs are-

I7-8700k

H100i PRO AIO CPU cooler

EVGA Geforce GTX 1070TI ACX 3.0 8GB GDDR5

Phantom Darkflash Black ATX Mid Tower case

I have 6 case fans and the AIO cpu cooler, and under full load my GPU reaches up to 80 degrees. I dont remember my CPU temps but I believe its anywhere between 35-50 while gaming.

Does anyone think they might know what I need to do. As of right now gaming under full load on say witcher 3 at 1440p is so loud.

I'd say that your GPU is at fault. Check the job of thermal paste EVGA did, sometimes the cooler might be imperfectly aligned and the card will run hotter because of that. Make sure the GPU gets enough airflow and the hot air coming out of the sides of the card get blown away quickly.

You think so? I could definitly check out the thermal paste. Do you think it might also be my cpu cooler? I heard the type of AIO i have can get noisy. But now that you mention it the gpu does seem like it could be the main source of most of the noise. It's hard for me to tell really.

My 2080 Was like that from factory, You can repaste the card and you will still be in warrenty. I dropped 15C at load with my overclocks

CPU: Intel Core i9 9900K | Ram: 32GB Corsair LPX 3200 DDR4 | Asus Maximus XI Hero Z390 | GPU: EVGA RTX2080 XC | 960 EVO Samsung 500GB M.2 | 850 EVO Samsung 250GB M.2 | Samsung 1TB QVO SSD | 1TB HDD WD Blue

There's no reason for the CPU fans to be loud when at like 35 C. But EVGA's warranty is pretty generous. You can overclock the card and even pop off the cooler (ignore the warranty void if removed sticker) and re-paste it. I know because my EVGA 1060 died after that and they let me RMA it. So yea, try using Noctua NT-H2 on the GPU die.

Just a update I re did the thermal paste on my gpu, and cleaned out all the dust. Didn't work unfortunatly. It has helped with the noise a bit, but overall it is still extremely loud under full load. I think it's just the card, I've seen a lot of other people complaining about EVGA's 1070TI fan noise. Unfortunate ?
