ASUS ROG G750JM Motherboard Swap

Hi,

I'm looking to do swap out the motherboard of my ASUS ROG G750JM DS 71 model Laptop with that of ROG G750JZ laptop

The JM model has i7 4700 processor and 2GB NVIDIA GTX860M graphics .

The JZ model i'm looking for is i74700  and  8GB NVIDIA GTX 880M Graphics.

Can you tell what model of the ROG G750JZ should i go for.?

when i asked the service center they said they need to know the serial number to check the availability of the board. I dont have a JZ model to give the serial number to them.

Can someone please help me out?

Has anybody done this swap succesfully?

thanks for the reply bro. But i believe its gonna be worth it.

My processor and southbridge is overheating due to which i'm unable play as FPS throttling is at 100degree celcius.

the laptop still matches the performance of the latest ASUS model  with 1050ti 4GB graphics. if I need to get a new laptop i have to shell out another 1500$.

I have got the price for the JM model motherboard, which is around 380$. For the JZ model i believe it will be around 420$.
