Budget Monitor for Artists advice ?

espr3ss0

My search terms on Amazon "monitor ultrawide ips hd", for Artists it's good to have enough rez but I'm not wanting to go overkill. Wondering as 1080 will be able to see pixels too clearly at larger sizes but is it the same for 1440 ? As not planning to play games the hz I'm not too bothered by, but am probably wanting an IPS. The main factor is not spending more than I need to.

Any Artists out there with suggestions ?

I make my "art" on a 144hz 1440p ips screen.

If you plan on art as a foundation, I would get something from LG, as they have lots of 1080p and 1440p options

Personally I would go 1440p or 4k for art

i7 6700k, GTX 1080, Crucial MX 300, Maximus VII Hero, WD Blue, 16 GB RAM

Dell makes nice IPS monitors, both new and refurbished if you are looking to save some money. I would get better than 1080p if you can. A calibration tool, e.g. X-rite, keeps the colors on track.
