Hi,

I have been having a problem with my pc where it would just randomly shutdown and won't boot for any longer than 1-2 seconds after that. I can reset the power switch and sometimes that works. I have been doing some testing and I tested the power supply using the 'self test' function and it worked fine, I then connected the 24 pin and did the paperclip test which after running for 10-30 seconds it would stop running. I'm going to test the pc with another power supply but I wanted to know if anyone else who has/had got a corsair AX860i and had the same problem, and was there a fix or did you have to RMA it?

System Specs:

i7 3770k - Cooled by H100i at stock 3.5Ghz

8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 1600Mhz - It is not to do with the memory as i have tested with another working ram kit

3x 2TB Seagate Barracuda

120GB Samsung SSD

ASUS Maximus V Formula

EVGA GTX 780 Stock Cooler

Corsair AX860i
