Hello!

I'm about to upgrade my ram to 16 GB but I have few questions... So my Motherboard is MSI B350 PC MATE and my ram right now is HX432C16PB3K2/8 (HyperX Predator 2x4GB) and I was wondering if it would work if I add the same ram module on my motherboard. I'm asking this because when I type in the ram compatibility, my current ram module, box where is says 4 DIMM isn't checked. So I'm a bit worried if it would work or if it means something else. And also, when I open my task manager it says that my ram is running at 1600MHz, but when I go to my BIOS it's says it's XMP OC: "Profile 2: DDR4 3200Mhz 16-18-18-36" as shown on pictures. Is that also a concern or I shouldn't be bothered? 684672360_BIOS.thumb.jpg.54f5a61ede6d224e8e4e50b1ca313d60.jpg

1. You dont have to match exact sticks, as long as the timings rating are the same. If they are different then it relies on the BIOS not being completely stupid and freak out.

2. That's normal. The I/O bus clock (actual frequency) of DDR memory is half that of the data rate. It sends data twice per clock cycle

What if I buy ram that looks the same like I use right now and has same timmings but it isn't on supported list?
