LiteCoin Mining Help Needed

I wanted to start LiteCoin mining, so I made an account on "give-me-coins.com" and downloaded the first 3.7.2 from http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/3.7/ . I then downloaded the LiteCoin wallet, which is still updating (cureently 11 weeks behind) and set up my wallet to the give-me-coins account. I then tried to create a .bat file for cgminer "cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://ltc.give-me-coins.com:3334 -u DeShack96.1 -p ltc1 -I 20". When i try to open the bat file, nothing happens, can sopmeone help me?
