Hello there,

I bought 1 stick of each, and I found out that the dual channel won't work as well as the timmings are not the same. Yet I haven't had any issues with the memory, and was able to bring it to 2400mh from 2133mh.

4gb Ram - https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-2400c15s-4gis 15-15-15-35 (2400mh)

8gb Ram - https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-2400c17s-8gis 17-17-17-39 (2400mh)

I am trying to fix this/work around it if possible and some advice would be much appreciated.

Q: If I bought 2 more 4gb ram of the same specs (https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_311_1326&item_id=092276) would I be able to run all 4 channels properly despite the memory size and latency of the 8gb?

or

Q: Should I buy the same 8gb ram (https://www.newegg.ca/g-skill-8gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820232599) and end my misery?

Q: Would a quad channel of 4gb ram with smaller latency be more efficient & effective than a dual channel 8gb ram with higher latency?

Open to any advice/suggestions.
