I'm building a pc for my friend and it will be for rendering/gaming pc (mostly for rendering), I was going to put a 660ti in but its a bit out of his price range should I put a 660 or try make some changes to fit the 660ti??

What kind of rendering?

 

The budget workstation gpu I would get is the amd firepro v4900 but it is totaly useless for gaming...

 

And not all rendering programs can use cuda...
