Hello,

I currently own a system that I did not spend money on cooling at all (box cooler). I had the idea of a custom loop in mind from the beginning, but now that it's getting warmer I thought it would be a nice time to upgrade. I will be cooling my 2600X as well as my Strix 2070 OC, and everything from EKWB (at the moment). My chassis is the Corsair Carbide 275R. I realized that this case was a bit cramped for a custom loop (definitely not designed for it), so I took measurements carefully. The picture below is the *fantastic* prototype sketch made in Google Drawing. In this config, everything seems to be fitting well. I will be attempting hard tubing (would love tips on how to do multi-bend tubes) as well. Do you see potential issues making this loop? The drain valve is connected to the reservoir (black square with a circle), so that everything can be drained when turned upside down (if that's possible). I'm really excited for this one and I need your help to not make dumb and expensive mistakes.

Thanks in advance!?

Also:

  • How much extra tubing should I buy in case I make bad bends?
  • What coolant is the best? (not settling on colored ones because apparently they gunk up?)
  • Put some pics of the case for size (measurements in centimeters)

AS long as you go from res to pump, you will get within margin of error for preformance, with liquid cooling loop placement,  for your first time try, fittings not bends, also, for coolant, just do Distilled Water with a bio additive, and dont mix metals and youll be fine

I would most likely buy a pump/res combo, so everything would be alright? I'm probably going to do single bends and fittings for the rest.

Should be fine. Bending isn’t too hard but don’t overheat and I would get a mandrel kit.
