My newly installed ek vector 2080 ti waterblock on my gpu didnt seem to be working well because I was idling at 45 C so I took it off and reapplied the thermal paste and everything.

hooked up a monitor, booted up and checked temps. 35 C or so idle. which was fine, bring it into my bedroom (which is the same temperature) and now its idling at 55 C.

I go into the BIOS and the bios says that the PCIE 16 port is only 29 C. (Which may just be the port itself, I thought it might mean the object plugged into it) I've checked with HWMonitor, Msi Afterburner and in the BIOS as mentioned.

I am seriously at a loss here for what could be wrong. I'm using the EK Cryofuel Solid Neon Green Coolant
