Patriot is still a good brand, I even feel like it's better than Team so yeah why not.

I found this RAM on Amazon JP.  (scroll down to see more info)

But I dont recognize the brand so not sure if its good or not.

or can anyone recommend any cheap bang for the buck 8gbx2 DDR4 3000mhz ram to go with Ryzen 5 2600?

Team is actually a good brand. It's not that famous yes, but it's recognizable here in my country. Overall, RAM is RAM, you won't go wrong with it...

Motherboard: MSI B450m Mortar Max

Processor: Ryzen 7 2700 w/ Wraith Prism

RAM: Klev Cras X 3200mhz 8gb x2

GPU:  Zotac Mini GeForce GTX 1070ti 8GB

PSU: Seasonic GX-750

its just that others told me that 3000or 3200mhz ram is strongly recommended when using a ryzen cpu. so Im a little concern if it will go well with this ram.

Yes it will. Actually, Team RAM is also listed as one of the compatible RAMs of MSI. Check it. Check the 3200mhz Team Delta TUF RGB instead btw. A 8gbx2 kit is being sold here in my country for 4800php (~93$)
