Hello,

Please let me start by saying that I am not computer savvy, but I have read as much as I can to try to figure things by myself.

I will provide as much information as I can with screenshots that I think are relevant, and if they are not please let me know.

I recently purchased a computer, I was told that it is supposed to be a good one. Now I am not so sure, because I bought this to mainly to watch movies and play some classic games. The games are fine but I am very disappointed in the movie watching. Basically, the quality of the image is really subpar and I don't know if there is some setting or something I am missing.

This is what my computer has:

I am not sure how I can fix this, I tried to take some pictures with my phone, hopefully these pictures show what I am talking about when I say bad quality.

I have Netflix HD subscription with 50 Mpbs Internet and the movie playing is Avengers on Microsoft Edge. I have tried the Netflix application and got the same results.

I dont know what to do, is my computer not good enough or not setup properly? how can I fix this?

What did you connect your monitor to?  Was it a port next to the other USB and audio ports or one lower down?

Edit:

Never mind.  Found my answer in your screenshots.

There are 2 places I could connect a screen but I was told to use the one a the bottom not at the top, is that ok?

I think this hasn't changed in the meanwhile:
To stream Netflix in 4K on a PC, you have to use Windows 10—you don’t do this on Windows 7. You must use either use Netflix’s website in the Microsoft Edge browser or stream with the Netflix app from the Store.
