I was wondering what is the best complete xlr mic setup under £150 ( $191.18 ). This price must include the mic itself, an audio interface, a pre-amd ( if required ) and any cables necessary to power this setup and connect it to a PC.

CPU: Amd Ryzen 3400g

COOLER: Be Quite Dark Rock Pro 4

MOBO: Aorus x570 elite

RAM: 2x8 Corsair Vengence 3200 MHz

SSD: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB

GPU: Powercolour Red Devil RX570 4GB

PSU: Corsair RM750x 80+ Gold

CASE: Coolermaster H500p Mesh

My setup is this:

Interface: Steinberg UR22 = 129€ (Behringer UMC22 would be cheaper = 38€)

Stand: K & M 23266 = 22€ (nice and compact, but only for small mics)

Cable: 5 m Cordial cable + 2 Neutrik NC3 = 7€ (soldered it myself; bought ones may be cheaper, but not with this quality)

Mic: Superlux HI 10 = 29€ (cheapest on Thomann, small and decent for the price)

With the UMC22 there would be plenty room to upgrade the mic. Also this would be better in the Audio subforum...

I was thinking something more like

UMC22 - £34.00

AT 2020 - £89.00

Pop filter - £5.99

Amazon Basics xlr cable - £17.16

Total = £146.15

Is this a decent setup or not ???

Note : I already have a spare boom are + Shock mount.

It's £99 on Amazon right now. You can save some money by grabbing a monoprice XLR cable . They are good quality cabkes with good warranty. Should total to roughly slightly above $200
