Would It Make A Difference

Hey quick question, if i were to take the adhesive of the back of a raspberry pi 3B+ and replace it with some kryonaut would it make a difference in temperatures ??? Would it allow a better and more stable overclock ??? I was just wondering this after watercooling the 2b+ for my friends retro arcade machine/ cabinet and it didn't make a huge difference from when he had a regular passive cooling case. 

 

Also would liquid metal be an option ??? Is it safe to use it directly on the die or would it corrode it ???

if you saw no difference on a 2b+ from water to passive and vice versa... I highly doubt you will see a different in a 3b either with replacing the stock pad/paste.
