Choosing a monitor for £500

florianerb

Hello I need some help with buying a monitor. At the moment I am in the early stages of building a new pc but I am waiting to see what components to get. I do a mixture of playing games and editing video (also colour corrections) so ideally I want a monitor which is 1440p IPS 144hz 27 inch and preferably 10 bit but 8 bit is still fine for most of my work. I have a budget of about £500. These where the two monitors I was looking at:

I wanted to know if AORUS AD27QD is a better pick to save my self £55 and get the acer xc272U or if you have any other suggestions feel free to mention them.

Thanks

Either of these two are fine.

If you want to save the money then do that. They are probably using the same or a very similar panel.

Check out the acer vg271up and vg270up because I believe that they're both using the same panel as the gigabyte and acer you picked. The vg270up might be hit or miss with the panel as only the newer ones off the production line use it I believe, but the vg271up definitely uses the same panel.
