Looking for desk recommendations

Hi Guys,

 

I have started the search for a new desk and I just wanted to get some opinions/recommendations before pulling the trigger. Currently I am planning on buying the IKEA Karlby counter top and two alex drawers (very original idea I know /s). 

 

Is there anything better for around €250-300 that is approx 280cm long and has plenty of storage? I cannot use an L shaped desk where it is going either.

I need it to look nice or it would drive me crazy, that would definitely be a cheaper option though

L shape wont work with where its going, should have mentioned that in the original post I'll edit it
