Logitech g430 bad mic

I got a pair of logitech g430 headphones, and the microphone picks up legit EVERYTHING. If anyone got a config for logitech g430 to voicemeeter then i would love to try it. My microphone picks up both my keyboard and mouse when im talking, if im quiet it doesnt pick up anything. It also seems to have a constant sound like "hmmmmmm". hard to explain. But i have tried changing with voicemeeter but it doesnt seem to work. Do yall know any better program that is easy to fix or something i could just load a config, tell me. Ive tried recording my voice to listen, ive tried the "listen to this" function in windows too but both seem to sound bad.

Funny thing.. I got my G430 over a year back but hardly used it, recently what happened is it literally picks up nothing lol, total exact opposite of yours.

 

But as for your issue, if you are using it for things like discord, just set your mic settings to Voice Activity. Should annoy your friends a little less. Otherwise I don't think theres really much to do.

what voice activity? is it a program or in discord?. And also, i just noticed that with voicemeeter, my mic sometimes start to stutter like crazy when talking, and my friends have been really annoyed by it

voice activity in discord. meaning instead of push to talk or it just recognises your voice activity to enable your voice on discord. but if it stutters like crazy as you say, try connecting it to the back of your pc instead of front panel audio and see if it persists. if it still persists, probably send it in for a warranty replacement.

Ive tried everything in discord, nothing worked. And i use the audio jacks to USB adapter that they come with, so i can get 7.1 surround. but ill remove the USB and see if it is any better.

honestly the USB adapter isn't very good, just plug it straight in.

ah nice to know. i thought it would be better so ive always use it. Now i know, ill put it to the side.

 

EDIT: i must say, just by removing that little USB dongle, the mic quality went up a bit. my microphone is still picking up my keyboard and mouse, but not as much as before, And also, its sounds static, all the time.

EDIT 2: to be fair, the keyboard isnt really annoying anymore, As long as if i can remove the static noise, then everything is better. So priority nr 1 is to remove the static sound.

I tried changing to the ports at the back, instead of on the front. and the static is gone, but now my microhpone barely picks up anything. ill have to blow into the mic for it do pick up anything. Why is it so quiet?

 

EDIT: for the mic to pick up my voice i have to literlly put it in my mouth.

i have a g230 one, i just put my settings on voicemeeter on -15 to -12 ish and the fx echo to the bottom left side to get more bass, hope this helps ! (and i put mine on mono btw so it wouldn't be a pain in the butt)
