Ive been trying to OC my screens refresh rate now for a while, but i havent been able to do it yet because of a bunch of errors and stuff. The monitor im using is a samsung S24D390H and its working great. I bought this of my friend pretty cheap cuz he didnt need it, and when i first used it i had a HD7850 and i could set the screen Hz to 75 without doing anything, no programs to OC it, windows just offered me it. After that i bought a 1050ti, but then i had to go into the nvidia control panel and set my own custom resolution to get it up to 75hz. A while after that i bought a rx480 4gb and now i cant OC my monitor over 66hz at all. How come i could use it at 75Hz while not changing anything, and later could do it just by setting my own reslution, but now i cant do it at all?. Please note that my screen did work when i had it on 75hz, and i had no problems with it at the time, and also, is there any chance i could be able to get it over 75hz? should i take a risk or just leave it as it is, if i do get it to work?

EDIT: i think im a bit stoopid. i think ive might have found the issue. Back then i used a HDMI cable, but now with my rx480 im using a hdmi to dvi cable. imma go see if i can find a hdmi cable and see if i can OC further.
