I really would just rent a small server at that point I know it isn't more fun to compute with but it'll just run all day and use your power/add to your power bill and renting the server usually provides a dashboard that is easier to modify things with. Not that running/modifying a Minecraft server is hard.

 

But if you HAVE TOO the processor I would recommend is the i5-2400.
