I'm building a pc

I have a budget of around $500. I do graphic design, watch shows and streams, and I do some gaming from time to time. When I do play games I'd like to get around 60fps+.(I play at 1080p) The games I play the most are GTAV and CSGO. I already have all of my peripherals bought and I am not near a Micro Center. (I'm in the US) . I also don't mind playing at low settings if I have too.

But depends if you want Ryzen or Intel. But I think GD is better on Ryzen?

and a 1060 would do you fine. (That's what I have) or RX 580.

sort of irrelevant with the budget he is working with. the r5 1600 is going to be the best he can get

It's similar performance to an rx 580, but ofc, change whatever parts you want, to make it comfortable for you.

that PSU will most likely take the system with it if anything happens.

its among the worst PSUs you can buy. (tip you find it in the list all the way at the bottom)

Don't forget that the Ryzen CPU and the Corsair PSU in his amazon links are used also.  They called the PSU "renewed" on amazon to mislead but pretty sure that's a refurb.  I don't find that's a fair build to post unless OP wants used amazon stuff.

Linking to screenshots is bad form when @Boinbo should be linking to the amazon pages (so they can be scrutinized) or copy the prices into a PCPartPicker for better legibility.

Did you look at any reviews of said PSU?  If you don't do the homework for something you buy you'll find out soon enough, but don't go recommending terrible PSUs to people if you don't know what makes a PSU good or bad.

Yes, but how does that prevent you from updating it now that you know that, but instead you posted it here instead of using links or pcp like a non-new poster?

Regardless of all the used stuff, I'm not saying you have to be fancy, just some basic effort so it would have been better to just link each amazon part in a post with a price after it (instead of screenshots of your cart), that way we can click on each page and not have to do the extra work or searching for your parts in a screenshot because you didn't link.

IDK, I just didn't. I'll happily repost a similar pcp list rn and quote OP.

I get it's like $10 (w/o rebates) over budget, don't hassle me on that please.
