Hello forumities, i hope you'r all having a wonderfull day, i'm new to this forum but i did read a litle on it before.

So, i am looking for information to the thickness of the thermal pads on the Gigabyte Aorus 1080ti (non extreme).

I will have to take it apart to change a wobbling seezing up fan (i can post a vid on it if you wish, its the first fan over the die part of the heatsink) and since i have not yet taken apart a GPU let alone one this size i want to have as mutch info before i dig into it.

I was planing to change the thermal pads on it while im doing the serveice since i think it wont hurt to do that, for the die paste i'll use Arctic Silver mx-4 (2019 edition) and the pads also Arctic pads but i would like to know the thickness of the pads needed so i can order them in advance and that i dont have to order all thicknesses just to have the exess gather dust and waste.

The card is still in waranty if you'r wondering but the time it would take for me to get the card back to my country (slovenia) i would take well over 2+months from what i was told and i have to pay the shipping (too mutch), but i found the correct 95mm fan on sale on AliExpress for 15$ +3$ shipping (15-20days) so i'd just do the repair myself.

And if that wouldnt work i was planning to just slap 2 120mm fans on the heatsink and plug them into a mobo fan header and call it a day, but first i'll try to keep it in original config fan wise.

Thanx for taking your time and for any help.

From videos they seem to use two different sizes. May want to contact them. Kinda pointless to swap them but pads are cheap enough you could just get 3 sizes and hope 2 fit properly
