So I just grabbed a free Lenovo H430 with an i5 3330 and 8gb of RAM, in Israel. A steal. Installed Ubuntu and it's pretty snappy.

I'm leaving for the summer, returning next year. My thought is that instead of dragging my whole gaming PC next year, I can just bring my graphics card and a hard drive full of games, and I can set it up here in a snap and have a decent gaming experience with a spare monitor.

My question is:

The power supply on this thing says it's rated for 250-280 watts max power. I could get a molex to GPU power connector and rig it up nicely... Will it be able to run without crashing or exploding?

i5 6600k and GTX 1070 but I play 1600-900. 1440p BABY!

Still, don't put too much faith in my buying decisions. xD

It will go kaboom. Bring a power supply back over too. 450-500 watt range as mentioned by @Acid Panda should be plenty.

I got a ps5 and a pc pretty ballin

@star_pilot475 @lordoftime79 The issue is this case will likely not support a standard ATX PSU.

I've seen a couple of resources across the nets that say it is possible to stretch it cuz the box estimates are purposely liberal... but yeah I probably won't risk it.

and dont bother with the hassle of back and forthing your GPU between 2 different systems!

It would be one switch e\separated by the other by like a year at least.
