Annoying issue

So i recently updated my windows 10 to 1903, now some of my old programs, such as ESL WIRE, Origin and obs, will not open at all, i can see them in my task manager, they just wont open, no error codes or anything obvious. I tried to roll back my windows but it wont allow me. I tried disabling anti virus. in fact, here is a list of things i tried to get esl to work

1. uninstall ESL Anticheat
2. uninstall Antivirus Software
3. turn off Firewall
4. clean your system and registry, for example with CCleaner
5. update your PC, also NET.Framework, visual c++ 
6. restart PC and download wire
7. install it, with admin rights
8. test it at the "ESL Wire Test Team"

still nothing. I play Rainbow 6 at a high level so esl wire working is crucial for me.

Seems like a botched update, if you can't revert you probably need to reinstall Windows.

Possibly try leaving it on overnight, Windows may be running stuff in the background that's preventing programs from opening.

 

Often it's the Start Menu/Task Bar that's not working and if you navigate to the .exe's they're probably ok.
