69.99 for 16Gb ram 2400 seems about right... I have a 8gb stick that was at that price atm of purchase...

 

If you are going with AMD I would recommend getting at least a 3000mhz kit.

 

monday next week amd has a keynote at computex and we will know more about zen 2. 

 

I would wait wait for that, as zen+ prices will

drop including the motherboards (I assume considering we are getting a new chipset)

Grab RAM and SSD now since prices are insanely low, but other than that I'd wait for Zen 2 and whatever else comes out at Computex.

If you want RGB it's fine, but that's $120 for 16GB and you can get this 16GB 3000mhz TeamGroup kit for $70 and I'd recommend that

If you bought the Patriot RAM - it's fine. Not too overpriced and it's a fine RAM kit
