What fans you want to control? Those connected to mobo? GPU? Or are you using fan controller or AIO?

 

Afterburner (and its variants) are only for GPU fans. CAM is mainly for NZXT AIOs and fan controllers. Mobo's have their own software, and BIOS. But for those fans you can also use 3rd party software Argus Monitor. Or if you have older motherboard, Speedfan.
