Does anybody know does the firmware for idrac6 live on the drac card itself? I'm looking at replacing it since I borked mine and it shows no activity seems cheap enough to just replace the card if that is the case

Yes it does, and when updating the prompted reboot will only restart the card.

Wow looks like you found the holy grail man I hear ya on dells website shit is buried deep in their website hope this works I really miss the remote feature as this unit is one of my unRAID servers that I don't run 24/7
