Hello guys, I have an HP Prodesk 600 g1 sff. I bought it second hand with no RAM so I first bought a 4GB Kingston DDR3 stick, then I acquired a Samsung 4GB stick later on. All was well until the PC started act up from nowhere. It gives 5 beeps 5 times, doesn't switch off, it continuously runs the fans nonstop.

I did some troubleshooting and I figured out that one slot, of the four, reads the Samsung stick and the rest don't. As for the kingston stick, non of the slots read it. I have tried both sticks in other computers and they work just fine. I am using the Samsung stick at the moment but sometimes it doesn't work.

Please help with some information as to what the cause may be and the solution to it.
