Stupid question probably.

Is there a difference if I use the front panel audio jacks or on the back of the motherboard? And if any, how big of a difference. If you wonder, you can see my specs in my signature, oh and don't kill me for being an idiot if the question is as stupid I think, then again there is not such thing as a stupid question

I once explained to my girlfriend what true love is. I said, "If you were a shit, I'd put you back in" and to this day, she is still my little shit.

Its not a stupid question, but from my experience I have noticed that the front panel jacks are way worse than the motherboard ones....i guess it depends

Yes, mostly in terms of interference. The front panel audio has long (not always great) cables that run across a case full of hardware that is bound to distort the signal a little bit. Whether you'd notice a difference between front and back is up to you. Personally, I can tell with a blind listening test on my rig.

A reasonable question, and one I have pondered on previously. It depends on the quality of your front panel audio jacks. From experiance with my ALMOST AWFUL case, the jack on the motherbord was far superior on the one of the case. you could always experiment to see which one sound better for you. Look for not just quality, but latency as well; do you notice any delay?

LOOK AT MY TUBE, MY TUBE IS AMAZING. DONT LICK IT IT DOESN'T TASTE LIKE ANYTHING. IT DOESN'T HAVE A MANE OR PENIS EITHER. SHUT UP.

There is a difference.

Audio quality is directly affected by EM (Electro-Magnetic) waves. It coming out of the back means it doesn't have to travel by the CPU and such (and other high EM wave producers) and gets you a cleaner sound.

If you ever hear static in a signal, that's interference, which is caused by EM waves.
