$750 Gaming PC

Linko

Hello there!

I am looking to build my first computer, So I decided the best place to get some ideas would be the LTT forum. Anyways enough talk, Let me begin; Since I have literally no true idea where to start I will be consulting this post:’https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/’

1. Budget & Location

My budget is around $750 and my location is the United States.

2. Aim

I only plan on playing less intensive games such as Minecraft, and CS:GO and I don’t mind turning down the graphic settings. But I need a computer that can run software Adobe Photoshop, and Blender. Basically a balanced build, Something that can play games but can also do things such as Photoshop. (Plus If it’s possible in my budget I would like the option to Over Clock)

3. Monitors

I just want one monitor at the moment, But the option for a maximum of 2 monitors would be a nice addition. Anything that meets or exceeds 1920 x 1080 would be fine with me, But I want it to have decent colors.

4. Peripherals

I have everything already, So no need to spend money where it doesn’t need to be spent :P

5. Why are you upgrading?

My previous computer is slow and can barely run Google chrome, Plus I’ve always wanted to build a computer so this is my chance.

Would you keep some old parts from the previous PC? Do you need an optical drive (DVD)?

It is an All-In-One, So using parts from it would be nearly impossible for a desktop. Plus I plan on selling it or just giving it to my friends or family

This is... $300 over OPs budget.

Also why tf would anyone blow $147 on a 1tb drive on a budget like this? Even on $1000 budget??

I would wait until Ryzen 3000 comes out which may help pricing even if you go Intel. Computex is on the 28th so we'll probably see some announcements with that. In the meantime, make sure that you are signed up for Newegg emails so you will be able to take advantage of any promotions that they are having (you have to be signed up to use their coupons.)

Were the prices all the same? We could have tweaked for current sales since it's been a week.

Actually after rebates the price went down about 50 bucks, Some good savings in my opinion
