Hi im in the middle of choosing a case and it could be the thermaltake v200 with an ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING motherboard and 2 rtx 2080's. Will the temps be fine and will it all fit? Also i dont know what slot config i will put them in i was thinking a 4 slot or a 3 slot config for Nvlink.

ok thanks so 2 GPU's will fit in this case

Didn't say that. Look to your motherboard specs to see if it will host two gpu. Then look at the gpu specs for its dimensions. Finally consult the case specs to see its gpu length limit, and possibly height limit.

Motherboard specs, https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z390-E-GAMING/specifications/, Expansion Slots section, first line 2 x PCIe 3.0 x 16 (x16 or dual x8). Means there are two slots that can take x16 cards like gpu. If both slots are occupied each will use 8 PCIe 3.0 lanes. So the motherboard will house two gpu.

Also note in Multi-GPU Support section "Supports NVIDIA® 2-Way SLI™ Technology". So two SLI capable gpu are supported.

Industry standards are that any case that can house a motherboard has at least one expansion slot opening for each expansion slot on the motherboard. One simply has to confirm that the case is big enough to handle the length and height of the gpus being considered.

If you haven't bought both GPUs yet, I'd do more research on the benefits of SLI. I think you'll find the second GPU to be a waste of money vs just a single 2080 Ti.
