I am looking around trying to decide what to get for a new computer.  I have budget of $230, and want to use the computer to play some basic games like BeamNG, Universe sandbox 2 G-Mod ect.  I have a few parts laying around that I would like to utalize A Micro ATX Cougar m110 case and a EVGA 450w 80+ bronze PSU (if I build a custom computer) the computers that I have been looking at are the Dell Precision t3500, t5500 and t7500, and the HP z400, z600, z800, elitebook 8470p and 8470w.

it's close but:

Use whatever funds you have left to get an RX 570 or even 580 off eBay, it'll just be enough.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Sorry went a little overboard

Why replace the PSU with an even worse one than OP already has?

I already have a Dell optiplex 390, should I try to upgrade that (that would decrease my budget by 50)

You can just replace the PSU with your evga and get a smaller GPU that fits in the case. You can use the money left for a 240gb ssd.

then leave some room for a CPU upgrade, a used e3 1230 is around $50.
