Sabertooth and m.2 help

Hi all, I have a Sabertooth 990fx 2.0 running on nvme for OP and games. My problem is I bought 1 m.2 B+M key by mistake the M key side runs fine in a riser card but I cant run it as a sata by the B key.

 

I have tried a few dual riser cards and an ssd sata caddy but nothing shows up in B key mode. Amy ideas on the problem apart from my so so PC skills?

IT would be fine if you stated brand and model of your SSD and aditional cards using in this process. 990FX boards are pre m.2 era, so compatibility is rather a hit or miss.

Kingston A1000 240 gig. M.2 is the card giving me problems. B + M key, works as M key but not as B key.

I have a Kingston SKC1000 ( M key ) works fine

2 Sabrent 256GB Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 work fine

riser card was a generic pcie 4x to ngff adapter with2 slots a B - key and m - key

I  have not added a link to it as I am not sure of site rules about this.

I know the 990 fx board is pre m.2 and had to do a work round to get it to find the ssd's in m key just hoping there is a one that works with the b key too.
