So i ordered a corsair h 60 cooler for my pc and found out the hard way the motherboard does not support it what would be a good motherboard for a possible new cpu (fx 6300 currently in it) and that will fit the h 60 and go into this case. (same case different insides.)

Thanks! trying to get overnight shipping before the weekend.

Is the 990 set worth it over 970?

No not really, the 990fx has more x16 PCI slots and allows you to use 3 way corssfire/sli, but if you're just going to be using a single GPU then the 970 chipset is perfect, if you're planning to upgrade your CPU just make sure your mobo will support it, some 970 mobos only support up to fx 6300 because of the higher TDP of the 8320/8350 ect.

CPU: FX-6300 @ 4.4 ghz GPU: MSI 7950 Motherboard: Asrock 970 Extreme R2  RAM: Teamgroup Elite Black 8GB 1600mhz

Case: Corsair 300r Windowed Storage: 60GB Corsair SSD boot, 1TB WD Black storage PSU: Corsair GS600 Displays: AOC 22", Acer 24" both 1920x1080 60hz

Cooling: Coolermaster V8 cpu cooler Keyboard: QPAD MK50 Cherry MX Blue Mouse: Logitech G500s  Mouse Pad: Corsair MM400 Sound: Sennheiser G4ME ONE headset, Audio Technica ATH M50s
